The fee for the exam is included in the two-day CPT course.
If you do not take the course the fee to sit for the exam is $325. (NSPA highly recommends taking the two-day class as it better prepares you to take the exam).

See below for information on re-tests and off-site testing.

• Arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the exam time.

• Wear fitness attire.

• Bring a pencil and a calculator.

• Do not bring any other materials, books, or notes into the test site.

• Remember:  Professionalism and Promptness count!

Re-Testing Information

The entire exam (written & practicals) are taken at the same time. 
A score of 75% is required to pass the written exam. 
 Practicals are scored as a pass/fail.

Re-Tests 
For CPT/CCS:  The following prices are valid at scheduled exam locations only:
* Written Exam Retest fee is $40.00        *Practical Retest fee is $30.00 (per practical)

Off Site Re-Testing
is available in certain regions.  
There is an Off Site Processing Fee of $25.00 in addition to the exam portion retest fees.
*The Off Site Retest Fee for the Written is $45.00.  *The Off Site Retest Fee for Practicals is $35.00 (each practical).
