NSPA Inclement Weather Policy
NSPA's Inclement Weather Policy is as follows ....
as long as the gym/location of the course is open on time
then the course for that day is on schedule as planned.
If the gym/location has a late opening then the course for that specific day is cancelled.
Please note: If one of the days of a multiple day course is cancelled due to weather, that does not automatically mean that the entire course is cancelled. Each course day is treated separately in reference to the weather.
Exams:
As long as the Timonium/Gaithersburg gym/location opens by 8:30am then the exam will proceed as scheduled.
If the Timonium/Gaithersburg gym/location opens after 8:30am or is closed then the exam will be postponed and rescheduled.
If the exam/course you have registered for experiences a weather related cancellation - NSPA will notify you within a few business days as to the "makeup" schedule options. Please be patient if a cancellation occurs. NSPA will make every effort to research all viable rescheduling options once we are back in the office. Notifications will be posted on the website and if possible, an email will be sent out to our email list.
